College Admissions
College Admissions We make the college application process worry free and fun. Our team of professionals are an amazing blend of talents that have a deep understanding about college and university requirements. If you are applying from high school or with equivalent high school requirements, you will apply as a First-Year Applicant. Be sure to see the requirements on the International Applicants page. If you have completed at least one semester as a degree candidate at another college or university, apply as a Transfer Applicant. And if youâve already decided BU is your first choice among schools, apply as an Early Decision Applicant. For other questions about applying to the CSU and the admissions process, read the Cal State Apply FAQ or Contact us. However, state statute requires additional requirements for a student to be classified as a Florida resident for tuition purposes. Most importantly, living in or attending school in Florida will not, in itself, establish legal residence for tuition purposes. The weighted, or district, GPA reported on your high school transcript will be used in the admissions review process. This year we helped 23 families in the Class of 2020 find the right fit college and our students were awarded over $3.78 million in Merit Aid offers. We believe there is a college for every student and we help find the right fit, at the right price, in the right location, with the right vibe. A limited number of undergraduate students not meeting this requirement may be admitted; however, these students must fulfill the requirement prior to completion of the baccalaureate degree. The requirements for Florida residency status are defined by Florida state statute Section 1009.21. Generally, a person is considered a resident of Florida for the purpose of paying taxes, voting or other legal purposes after residing in the state for a designated length of time. Those selected to the program will apply insight from this extensive exposure to the liberal arts and other disciplines to the study of modern medical science. Rice will allow first-year and transfer student applicants to undergraduate degree-seeking programs for the application cycle to submit SAT or ACT test scores, if they choose. Students who are unable to submit test scores or prefer not to submit test scores will be given full consideration in the admission selection process. Completion of a high school diploma prior to enrollment is required for all new incoming students. Students who have elected to take time off from schooling between graduating from high school and enrolling in college are considered first-year candidates.
